Tips in Planting Hybrid Rice

Below are a few helpful tips in planting crossbreed rice:

Seed and Seedbed preparation - for every single 2 kg of seeds, prepare yourself 40 m2 seedbed. Each bed have to be about 1m wide, of just about any length, and raised to the height of 4 to 5 cm. Soak the seeds for approximately 12 to 24 hours with clean water until these have swelled. Some seeds will move. Do not remove them. Change the water every 5 to 6 several hours. Then drain the water along with incubate them for 24 for you to 36 hours until a white dot comes right out of the seeds. After preparing the seedbed, apply 1 to at least one. 5 bags of organic materials for every single 40 m2 seedbed. Afterwards, achieve 3 to 5 cm mineral water depth every irrigation time until one to two weeks before harvest. Drain standing water(if any) one week before the expected harvest pertaining to easy harvesting and grain excellent preservation.
Fertilizer application - pertaining to basal, apply 4 to 6 bags of 14-14-14 with regards to the results of soil analysis or minus one element technique. If K is deficient in a sandy loam soil, apply fifty percent bag of muriate of potash (0-0-60) from panicle initiation. If both N and K are expected at panicle initiation, apply a couple of bags of 17-0-17 per hectare. Normally, apply N and K fertilizer independently.
